Kim joined KPMG’s audit practice in 1995 and has continued her entire career within the firm having worked in a number of KPMG offices around the world including Silicon Valley, London and Sydney. Kim was admitted to the partnership in 2007.
Her role within the Australian firm’s technical financial reporting group requires Kim to be at the forefront of developments in financial reporting and Australian regulatory requirements – to assist companies and KPMG engagement teams with identifying and resolving implementation issues associated with changes in reporting requirements.
Kim regularly presents internally and externally on emerging accounting and regulatory issues. Kim advises across all reporting subject matter with a particular emphasis on revenue recognition, tax effect accounting, employee benefits, share-based payments, and Australian financial reporting regulatory requirements.

Stephen Isaac

Stephen leads KPMG’s national audit practice for not-for-profit clients, with a personal focus on the health, ageing and human services sector where he leads many of our clients. Stephen joined KPMG’s audit practice in 2001 and has been a partner since 2014.
Stephen’s role ensures that he is at the forefront of accounting and regulatory developments for not-for-profit clients as well as proactively ensuring that emerging business issues are identified and addressed.
Shara Learmonth

Shara is the lead Director in KPMG’s National Health, Ageing and Humans Services audit group. Shara has been with KPMG for over 15 years and works extensively across both the for-profit and not-for-profit sector with clients in this space.
Shara works alongside her clients to ensure the integrity of their financial and regulatory reporting with a lens on sector specific matters.
Julie Locke
Senior Manager, Department of Professional Practice

As a senior manager in the Australian firm’s technical financial reporting group, Julie assists entities and KPMG engagement teams with identifying and resolving application issues for a wide range of financial reporting topics and complex accounting issues.
Julie advises across all reporting subject matter with a particular emphasis on financial statement preparation and presentation, not-for-profit income and lease accounting. She regularly presents internally and externally on emerging accounting and regulatory issues.
Julie has worked at KPMG for over 19 years in total, with a career break in the middle of that period. Prior to working in the technical group she gained experience in the Audit division of KPMG.

Catherine Dean
KPMG Australia
Catherine Dean is a partner in KPMG’s corporate tax practice with 20 years of corporate tax experience including specific experience in advising clients in the not-for-profits sector.
Catherine’s not-for-profits experience includes preparation of advice in relation to charitable structures, consideration of the tax treatment of donations and fundraising events. Catherine also assists with the preparation of applications for registration of charities and not-for-profits with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
Catherine is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
