With a specific focus on strategy, David is responsible for all aspects of the Charter Hall business. Recognised as a multi-core sector market leader, David has over 36 years’ global property market experience and has led transactions exceeding $50 billion of commercial, retail and industrial property assets. Under his stewardship, the Charter Hall Group portfolio has grown from $500 million to $88 billion of assets under management. David is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI) and Property Champions of Change. He is also a Director of the Property Council of Australia and a member of the Nominations Committee (Director since 14 April 2016, National Vice-President from 2017-2021, National President from 2021-2023, Immediate Past President from March 2023) and a member of the Board for NSW Rugby Union.

Carmel Hourigan, BBus (Land Economics), Grad Dip Finance and Investment (Securities Institute)
Carmel Hourigan is Charter Hall’s Office CEO and is a member of Charter Hall’s Executive Committee, with over 28 years industry experience spanning key senior leadership positions and roles in funds management, research and advisory services.
She is leading the $$23 billion Charter Hall office sector from end to end including Funds Management, Asset Management, Development and Property Management teams, and helps develop the overall strategy and objectives for the office funds in conjunction with the Charter Hall Fund Managers and our Investors and helps guide the portfolio management, capital transactions, treasury and trust management teams to execute strategy.
Carmel held the position of Global Head of Real Estate at AMP Capital between November 2015 and August 2020. She was responsible for leading the group’s global real estate investment and management business, including the portfolio management and performance of real estate assets for pooled fund investors and separately managed account clients. Carmel also oversaw AMP Capital’s strategic global real estate partnerships with investment managers in the United States, Singapore and New Zealand. Carmel also oversaw AMP Capital’s real estate investment committees, which govern investment strategy and implementation.
Prior to AMP Capital, Carmel was Chief Investment Officer at The GPT Group and prior to that, Head of Investment Management since 2012. Her experience also includes senior roles at Lend Lease and Challenger Financial Services Group in addition to roles within Colonial First State, Stockland Group, Jones Lang LaSalle and Raine & Horne Commercial.
Carmel sits on the Property Council of Australia Board of Directors and has previously held the position of Vice President. She also served as Special Advisor to the Property Male Champions of Change group, which is dedicated to increasing gender equality in the property industry; and is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute. Carmel has also held the position of Deputy Chancellor of Western Sydney University and the Chair of the University Infrastructure Committee.
Qualifications
Carmel holds a Bachelor of Business (Land Economics), and a Graduate Diploma of Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Andrew has worked in the property development industry for over 32 years and has successfully delivered in excess of $11 billion of projects throughout Australia.
Prior to joining Charter Hall, Andrew worked for Leighton Properties, Lend Lease, Seymour Group, Urban Properties and Remm group. Whilst at Leighons as the National Head of Commercial, Andrew led over $3 billion of transactions in the last 2 years for the business stream.
Andrew now leads a significant commercial development pipeline and is widely regarded as an expert in sustainable commercial building practices, having served for over 7 years as a non-executive Director and Board Member of the Green Building Council of Australia and recently became a Life Fellow.
Richard Stacker

Richard Stacker has over 30 years of experience in real estate funds management, real estate finance, accounting and risk management. With experience across all our sectors, Richard brings broad insights and perspective to his role as Industrial & Logistics CEO, having led the establishment, structuring, funding and management of new funds, and overseeing the transactional, development, asset and property management.
Andrew Simons

Andrew has 30 years of broad Industrial experience in the property industry, having worked for national real estate agencies, property consultancy firms, private developers, fund managers & REITs. His extensive experience in national Industrial development provides a strong platform for the significant growth in Charter Hall’s national Industrial development portfolio. In his role as Head of Industrial Development, Andrew is responsible for securing and delivering Charter Hall's $2.8 billion industrial development pipeline, including over 1.2 million sqm in new GLA across Australia. The overall Charter Hall Industrial business grew by $3.2 billion in FY20 with current funds under management of $12.3 billion.
Andrew is a qualified valuer, holds a Bachelor of Business & Land Economy from the University of Western Sydney and also a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Andrew is currently a member of the Property Council of Australia Industrial Roundtable and until recently spent 9 years on the NSW Industrial Property Committee, including 3 years as chairman.
