Diversity, equity and inclusion: From talk to transformation

Time:2:00 PM EDT/11:00 AM PST

Duration:60 minutes

Numerous conversations have been happening about racial equality in the workplace for years. Certainly these dialogues are taking place among those in the PR and comms sector. However, while there has been some progress, it has not been nearly enough.

On a national, even international level, the importance of and need for unfettered inclusion has never been more top of mind than it is now. Talk will always be helpful, but those words will only mean something with inclusive intent and if they lead to tangible action.

Of course, as COVID-19 continues to have many businesses focusing on maintenance or survival, some might feel justified in placing diversity and inclusion on the back burner.

This webcast, presented by FleishmanHillard, will not only highlight the issues with such thinking, it will underscore the communicator’s unique position and ability to be a catalyst for real change. And this transformation can occur not only within the PR industry, but in all the businesses PR pros counsel.

During this hour, inspiration and tactics will be shared on:

•Creating a culture of accountability, responsibility, and ownership
•Moving D&I from the fringes to the center of the business
•Underscoring and proving bottom-line impact
•Refocusing hiring and retention protocols
•And much more
