Matt Markiewicz

Matt runs Innovation Shares, bringing 21 years of financial industry experience to the company, with over 6 years spent at BlackRock as a director within the iShares ETF business. During his tenure at iShares, the firm launched over 150 ETFs. Before BlackRock, Matt had his own consulting venture, which focused on strategic development opportunities for smaller companies in the U.S. energy industry.

Before striking out on his own, he was a managing director & partner at VDM Specialists, a NYSE market-making firm, where he was responsible for corporate client relations and trading research. His Wall Street career started at UBS Warburg, initially in equity research, followed by a role in institutional equity sales covering asset manager and hedge fund clients. Matt has an undergraduate degree from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.

Jon Najarian

John is a professional investor, globally recognized media analyst as well as a co-founder of Najarian Family Office and Rebellion Partners, a seed-stage private equity fund.

After a stint with the NFL’s Chicago Bears, Jon began his financial career at the Chicago Board of Options Exchange and in 1990 founded Mercury Trading, a market-maker that was sold to hedge-fund giant, Citadel, in 2004. In 2005, Jon and his brother, Pete, co-founded optionMONSTER and tradeMONSTER which were ultimately sold to E*TRADE in 2016.

Jon’s next venture was co-founding Investitute, a world-class website & service dedicated to educating & training investors to become smarter traders. In addition to being a regular on-air contributor to CNBC, Jon is the co-founder of TCB Productions LLC, a production company for television programs and movies.

Dave returned to ETF.com in November 2016, picking up after first joining the firm in 2008. He has been involved in researching, reporting and analyzing the investment management industry for more than 20 years, and recently co-authored a definitive book on ETFs, “A Comprehensive Guide To Exchange Traded Funds” for the CFA Institute. As a managing director at Barclays Global Investors, Dave helped design and market some of the first ETFs. With partner Don Luskin, he went on to found MetaMarkets.com, a revolutionary transparent mutual fund company that pushed fund disclosure to the top of the SEC agenda. As co-founder at Cerulli Associates in the early '90s, Dave conducted some of the earliest research on fee-only financial advisors and the rise of indexing. He is widely quoted in the financial press, a regular speaker at finance conferences, and publishes a widely read blog at ETF.com. Dave has an MBA in finance from Boston University.
