Before COVID-19, physician burnout, depression, and suicide were significant issues in U.S. healthcare, affecting clinical care. Recent studies show a national increase in physician burnout to 53%, with many physicians not seeking help due to stigma and application concerns.
This webinar will discuss the problematic questions found in applications for medical licensing, employment, and credentialing, which demand disclosure of mental illness or substance use disorder (SUD), further contributing to these challenges.
Participants are encouraged to bring their questions for the closing Q&A session.
This Webinar does not offer a certificate for continuing education. For those associations that may accept alternative forms of continuing education, please consider saving a copy of your Webinar registration email as proof of your attendance.
