Dr. Jasmine Millman is a Senior Scientific Affairs Associate at Swisse Wellness, H&H group, advocating for science-led innovation on variety of beauty and wellness-centered NPD projects across Australia and Southeast Asia Markets. She has a background as both a Dietitian and a Postdoctoral researcher where majority of her research and published works have focused on the impact of functional foods on the gut microbiome and effects on the gut mucosal immune system, metabolic, and cognitive health. Currently, her special interests and research efforts lie on the topic of beauty biotics and the gut-skin axis and potential commercial applications as cosmeceuticals.

George has been active in the probiotic industry since 2007 and has held a variety of business development and account management roles in a globally recognised probiotic manufacturer. Throughout this time, he has served on the IPA’s Board of Directors and was the association’s President twice before becoming its Executive Director in 2015. His goal is to continue the IPA’s outreach program as the global voice of the probiotics industry.

Craig Silbery has made a return to the probiotic world with his latest venture, Specialty Probiotics Australia. In his past life, he was the visionary behind Australia's top probiotic brand, renowned for his pioneering spirit in the wellness industry. Craig previously transformed the probiotic landscape in retail. Now he is poised to re-enter the industry with a focus on addressing the challenges faced in manufacturing before and driving new innovations. His goal is to leverage his experience to push the boundaries of probiotic advancements.

Jessica is an experienced Clinical Nutritionist and Western Herbalist and has dedicated over 20 years of her career to the research and practice of complementary medicines. Her knowledge and success within her field has made her an in-demand clinician, author, speaker, HCP educator, and media spokesperson. Her special interest lies with the host-microbiome-environmental relationship and its role in chronic disease. Jessica is currently the lead Scientific Educator for Life-Space Group. The company’s mission is to make the latest scientific advances in microbiome health available to all, and to lead the way in paediatric supplementation.

Dr Ross Walker is an eminent practising cardiologist with 45 years of experience as a clinician. Dr Walker is also the Chairman of the Gut Foundation of Australia and the patron for Heart Support Australia. He runs the Sydney Heart Health Clinic in Lindfield on Sydney’s North Shore, a clinic that focuses on all aspects of non-invasive & preventative cardiology. He is also the Chief Medical Officer for the Access Corporate Group, a consultant for the Kaneka Corporation, Nathealth, and is on the scientific advisory board of SRW.com, a company developing evidence-based anti-ageing products. Considered one of the world’s best keynote speakers and life coaches, he is the author of seven best-selling books and a regular health presenter in the Australian Media, including Nine Radio network and the Super Radio network.

Yanan has a combined background in nutrition and the microbiome. She completed her PhD in Human Nutritional Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 2016, and subsequently pursued postdoctoral training in the microbiome field with South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute’s (SAHMRI) microbiome team in Adelaide. Her research interest lies in the interplay between diet, gut microbiota, and host health. A primary focus of her work is to assess the prebiotic effect of dietary fibre in altering the gut microbiota and improving conditions such as hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and intestinal inflammation. Additionally, she has worked on numerous projects assessing the association between gut microbiota and a wide range of health conditions, including allergy, sleep, and children’s behavioural problems. Her work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals in the field, such as Gut Microbes, SLEEP, and Microbiome. She is currrently leading the Baby Gut Health Study at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), which aims to develop an effective dietary strategy to shape a resilient microbiome in early life and promote lifelong health benefits.

Ting Min is the Editor of NutraIngredients-Asia. On top of daily news reporting, she produces multimedia content for the site, including the video series Behind the Big Story, podcast series Nutrachampion and long-form multimedia features VitamINSIGHTS. She joined William Reed in 2018. Prior to that, she was a reporter at Chinese daily Lianhe Wanbao, covering crime, court, and general news.

Gary opened William Reed’s first Asia Pacific office in Singapore in 2016 and has spearheaded the expansion of its editorial, events and commercial operations across the region. Gary has hosted, presented and moderated at conferences and awards shows around the world, and has regularly appeared on TV and radio to discuss the food and nutrition, travel and tourism, and media and marketing industries.
