Maki Storey Sr. Director, Marketing Science RBC Maki Storey is Sr. Director of Marketing Science, CRM at RBC, where she leads a team of CRM
professionals and data scientists who are passionate to transform how we grow our business and

Simona Gandrabur AI & Data Business Lead National Bank of Canada Simona Gandrabur has been working in the general field of AI for close to 20 years, most notably in
areas related to processing of human languages – such as automatic speech recognition, natural
language understanding, machine translation and conversational reasoning. Her experience ranges from
many years in research, in the development of smart assistant applications, to defining strategy of AI-
based offers. She is currently AI & Data Business Strategy Lead at the National Bank of Canada.

Shingai Manjengwa Director of Technical Education Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence Shingai is the Director of Professional Development at the Vector Institute for Artificial
Intelligence in Toronto, where she translates advanced AI research into educational
programming to drive AI adoption and innovation in industry. Shingai serves on the advisory
council for, 'Accelerating the adoption of AI in healthcare,' a program to empower front-line
healthcare workers with AI skills by the Michener Institute of Education at UHN and the Vector Institute. Shingai also serves on the board of the Canada Institute on Governance (IOG).
A data scientist by profession, Shingai is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of
Fireside Analytics Inc., a data science education solutions company. Fireside Analytics
develops customized programs that teach digital and AI literacy, data science, data privacy, and computer programming and clients include corporates, governments, non-profits, higher
education institutions, and high schools. Data science courses by Fireside Analytics have over 480,000 registered learners on platforms like IBM’s CognitiveClass.ai and Coursera.
Shingai’s book, ‘The Computer and the Cancelled Music Lessons’ teaches data science to kids from ages 5 to 12 and she holds a Master 39;s degree in Business Analytics from New York University 39;s Stern School of Business.
