Steve Hamlin

Steve Hamlin is the VRF/Ductless Product Manager for Trane North America. Steve is responsible for leading the growth and development of all VRF/Ductless products and controls. Steve Hamlin began his career as a Cost Accountant in 2006 working for Club Car as part of Ingersoll Rand’s Accelerated Development Program. He gained experience in various Finance roles within the organization including Corporate Treasury & Audit. Steve Hamlin’s work as the Program Manager supporting both Product Management & Sale Excellence led him to the Product Management function. Prior to accepting his role as VRF Product Manager, Steve was the Unitary Aftermarket Product Manager in the Residential & Supply business. Steve graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Operations Management. Steve continued his education at the Kelley School of Business with a Master’s in Business Administration as part of the IR Executive MBA program. Steve currently resides in Davidson, North Carolina and likes to spend time with his wife Jamie and his three (large) dogs, Luna, Orion & Titan. Hobbies include triathlons, anything on the water or outdoors, and hanging out with friends.

Heston Allocco

Heston Allocco is the VRF/Ductless Field Operations leader for Trane North America. Heston leads the post-sale operations strategy for our commercial ductless business across the US to ensure proper installation, startup and world class customer satisfaction. Additionally, Heston has responsibility for our technical training centers, the maturity/development of our Ductless Technical Specialists and product support for the application of Trane VRF and Ductless products.

Heston joins the ductless team with over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry, including 20 plus years as a Mechanical Contractor project manager. Heston joined Trane in 2012 as a Field Project Manager where he supported our customers with conflict resolution and proactive project support. As an early adopter of ductless, Heston fulfilled the roles of the Ductless Technical and Sales Specialists prior to their creation. With the rest of the district team, he led the design and installation of the one of the first VRF training facility in NJ. He expanded his role to Key Project Leader where he was responsible for the execution of the district’s most strategic projects including Hudson Yards and One Vanderbilt.

Heston now resides in the Davidson area with his wife Tia, two teenage daughters, Emma and Lily and the family dog, Grace. Heston enjoys tackling long outdoor pursuits such as an Albany to NYC Hudson River Kayak trip or climbing Kilimanjaro. He also enjoys participating in the obscure like competing in the World Pond Hockey and the US National Toboggan Championships.
