Oleg Bondarenko

Professor Bondarenko received an MS degree from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology. His primary research interests include option pricing, financial econometrics, and market microstructure. His research has appeared in top Finance and Economics journals and has been featured in Morningstar, Economist, and other media outlets. Professor Bondarenko has consulted with several investment firms and currently serves on the Product Development Committee of Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe). His research has been supported by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Cboe, Institute of Structured Finance, and Derivatives, among others. He has written two research studies commissioned by Cboe. Professor Bondarenko held visiting faculty positions at the Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis, and Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Dmitriy Muravyev

Associate Professor of Finance

Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University

Dmitriy Muravyev is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University. His research focuses on using derivative securities and big data methods to answer important questions in financial economics. His research has been published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. He presented his work at the leading academic and practitioner conferences. Prior to joining MSU, he worked at Boston College. Professor Muravyev received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds degrees from Moscow State University and the New Economic School, Moscow. Bill O'Keefe

Director of Derivatives Sales

Cboe Global Markets

Bill works with insurance companies, target outcome funds and other investors to help in their understanding of how to implement customized transactions using FLEX options and other exchange-listed options. Prior to working at Cboe, Bill ran a FLEX-only execution desk at X-Change Financial Access (XFA). He was a member on the floor of the Cboe Options Exchange for more than 17 years. Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Head of Index Insights

Cboe Global Markets

Matt Moran is Head of Index Insights at Cboe Global Markets. In this role, Moran is focused on the exchange's educational efforts for pension funds, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), mutual funds, and other institutional investors. He has traveled to more than 100 cities worldwide to educate investors and deliver financial presentations. Prior to joining Cboe, Moran served as Trust Counsel at Harris Bank and Vice President at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is an associate editor of The Journal of Beta Investment Strategies and has written articles for several financial publications, including The Journal of Trading and The Journal of Alternative Investments. Moran holds MBA and JD degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
