HVAC | MEP: Building a Seamless Workflow From a Constructible Model to CAM

On Demand Until April 18, 2020

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

Amid rising construction costs and a shortage of skilled labor, prefabrication can be a contractor’s secret to cut costs, reduce waste and increase your bottom line. But in order for you to implement the full power of this process in your production, you’ll need to build a seamless workflow from your front office to the shop floor.

In this special joint webinar, Trimble and Mestek Machinery guide you through creating a successful, seamless workflow and how to use interoperability between software and hardware to grow your business.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to utilize the full benefits of BIM (and beyond) to create constructible project models during design that can be prefabricated and seamlessly installed
  • Software and hardware that “talk,” understanding interoperability between software and hardware and how this relationship helps cut costs, reduce waste and increase your bottom line.
  • The dos and don’ts of prefabrication: controlled assembly and how to build certainty on the job site.
