James is a Director for the firm’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practice. Well-versed in data privacy, litigation readiness, and information life cycle management disciplines, he ensures that clients maximize the value of their information assets by understanding and implementing the appropriate compliance controls relevant to their data ecosystem. He has more than 25 years of professional experience focused on information lifecycle management, data protection, and information governance, helping clients meet regulatory and compliance mandates such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In addition to leading privacy and client engagements, James is also a recognized leader and speaker within the Privacy and Information Governance disciplines themselves, having spoken on a variety of topics related to privacy, information governance, data discovery, information lifecycle management, and Infonomics at conferences and industry events.

Melinda has more than 20 years of Project Management and Process Analysis experience in the industries of Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Software Technology. As a proven Senior Project Management Professional and Business Transformation Analyst, she is a decisive and engaging leader who excels at fostering collaboration, setting strategic direction, and balancing diverse organizational priorities. With a wealth of multi-faceted experience in a fast-paced global environment, Melinda is proactive and resourceful, enabling her to successfully meet strict deadlines and maximize available resources in continually evolving environments. Melinda’s invaluable contribution to her Clients, is the unique ability to tailor her project management methodologies to custom fit her Client’s needs that incorporates employees roles, technology, business processes, external factors and hard and soft constraints. In her operational and managerial roles, Melinda has successfully leveraged her skills, rich technical insight, and attention to detail to define and execute business critical initiatives including streamlining GDPR IRR processes, auditing and streamlining NIST GRC-related software controls and processes, developing client Privacy by Design guidelines, installation of IT backup hardware on FPSOs (Floating Production Storage, and Offloading) off the cost of Brazil, merging of hospital/clinic records as a result of an M&A, and leading a global Services team in a 10-country ERP installation.
