Domenico D’Alterio

IBM Offering Manager

Domenico D’Alterio is the IBM Offering Manager focused on IBM z IT Operational Analytics products (including IBM Z Decision Support). He is responsible for product strategy and direction as well as market success of IBM Common Data Provider for z Systems and IBM Z Decision Support as well as contributing to the product strategy for IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS product.

Prior to his current role, Domenico covered different managerial positions in IBM Development and Customer support organization. Domenico joined IBM in 1999. Starting as designer, moved to a managerial role in 2006, acting as Development and Customer Support manager in the former Tivoli division of IBM. He graduated in Electronic Engineering, in Italy.

Marco Cardelli


Marco Cardelli, HCL Products & Platforms - Marco Cardelli is currently part of the Workload Automation Offering Manager team with special focus on the z/OS product. Marco has been working with IBM since 1990 and on IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS since 1995. He started on IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS as a L3 support specialist and then joined the development team as Chief Designer starting with IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS 8.3. During the years spent in the development team Marco has been working on the design and the implementation of many features of IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS, such as, Workload Service Assurance, zCentric end-to-end, Run Cycle groups and Remote Hot Standby. In 2015 he became Architect of the IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS product. In September 2016, as part of the new partnership agreement between IBM and HCL, he moved to the new HCL Products & Platforms division. Since January 2017 he left the development team and joined the Workload Automation Offering team focused both on the distributed and the mainframe product.
