With a decade of experience working with CAD and BIM technology, Andrew Rider is an experienced technician who continues to be on the cutting-edge of his field. Andrew has a strong background in a variety of projects, including military, educational and government facilities. He is proficient at establishing BIM execution plans, developing software frameworks for projects, and guiding design teams in the use of Revit BIM models. Andrew has extensive experience in developing BIM models, running clash detection, providing laser scanning, presenting models in Virtual Reality/Alternate Reality (VR/AR) environments, extracting COBie data, developing construction documents and performing quality control (QC) of BIM standards.
Andrew’s experience with creative, adaptive and innovative approaches makes him a valuable asset to a variety of project teams. At Woolpert, Andrew regularly hosts BIM roundtables where he educates employees about the use of BIM technology in the workplace and discusses important updates. Andrew is also adept at using VR/AR technology to help clients envision the three-dimensional space during design. This technology creates fully immersive environments in which clients can not only view the design, but stand in and walk through it, before construction begins. Andrew is adept at a variety of CAD/BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, 3D Studio Max Design, and BIM360 (A360).

A design technology leader and innovator, Cameron comes from a background of over 10 years of highway/roadway, drainage and transit design; delivering projects from design to construction. As the Data Acquisition & Digital Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group, he is responsible for the development & use of innovative and forward thinking implementation of project delivery technologies to increase project efficiencies.
Cameron uses his background in BIM to integrate digital delivery across the entire project lifecycle for connected BIM while incorporating Reality capture for Digital twins and integration for Asset management. Cameron leads a variety of training and implementation of these products & workflows throughout some of HDR's largest Mega Projects, creating new ways to better serve HDR’s clients.
