Abstract:
Truly connecting with your listeners is fundamental in all communication and is critical for a successful presentation. Choosing the right words and overall message are crucial to delivering your point when speaking to an audience. Learn more about how to do this with CPA International for the second webinar in our three-part series on public speaking.
Session speaker Ian Turnipseed, Executive Communication Coach at The Speech Improvement Company, will discuss the concept of persuasive speaking and teach you skills to communicate effectively with your audience. The goal of persuasive speaking is for the speaker to convince the audience to accept their point of view or perform a desired action. You'll learn how to choose the proper mode of persuasion and how to match your message to your listeners.
