Aptean’s Adrian Regan has more than 24 years’ worth of food manufacturing industry experience. During this time, he has worked within a succession of blue chip and FMCG companies as a member of their senior leadership and front line management teams. He has championed best practice and innovation, to drive governance and integrity across the food supply chain, and continuous improvement in food safety and culture. Through the combination of in depth industry knowledge and IT solutions expertise, he developed leading technology and real time systems to drive compliance and assurance to the highest industry, retail and legal standards. In March 2021, Adrian joined Systems Integration, one of the leading providers of enterprise resource planning (ERP), and manufacturing execution system (MES) solutions to the UK food processing industry, to head up its customer project delivery team. Following the acquisition of Systems Integration by Aptean in December 2021, Adrian was appointed as the head of SI’s professional services delivery team. Aptean is one of the world’s leading providers of purpose-built, industry-specific software, enabling manufacturers and distributors effectively run and grow their businesses.

Andy has 30+ years’ experience in food technology/quality & safety working around the world as a consultant in a wide range of food & non-food products; enabling food companies to meet customer demands of quality, safety & consistency.

Ben had been working in the Food Industry for nearly 18 years since joining Bakkavor as a graduate in 2004. At Bakkavor Ben held many different factory based technical roles including QA, hygiene, process development and technical management. These roles covered chilled convenience sectors including Pizzas, Salads, Dips, Sauces and Desserts. In 2012 Ben joined Tesco as a Technical Manager in Convenience and has been Category Technical Manager for the Beers, Wines & Spirits & Impulse, Bakery & Dairy, and the Prepared Foods categories. Ben currently is Head of Technical for Tesco Central Europe leading the quality function in this dynamic and challenging part of the business.

Liz has over 25 years of experience in various roles across Procurement & Quality within the food industry. She has worked for McCormick for over 20 years and is currently Senior Director, Supplier Quality EMEA. She is passionate about driving a quality and food safety culture across the organisation and leading the standardisation and governance of critical food safety and quality programmes.

Rod is responsible for all Food Manufacture’s content for the web, face-to-face conferences and its annual Food Manufacture Excellence Awards. He has worked for William Reed Publishing for 20 years, starting off at The Grocer, where he was one of the two journalists launching its website. He has reported on issues ranging from the Foot & Mouth disease outbreak of the early noughties to the horsemeat scandal, Brexit and COVID-19.
