Professor Bondarenko received an MS degree from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology. His primary research interests include option pricing, financial econometrics, and market microstructure. His research has appeared in top Finance and Economics journals and has been featured in Morningstar, Economist, and other media outlets. Professor Bondarenko has consulted with several investment firms and currently serves on the Product Development Committee of Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe). His research has been supported by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Cboe, Institute of Structured Finance, and Derivatives, among others. He has written two research studies commissioned by Cboe. Professor Bondarenko held visiting faculty positions at the Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis, and Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Yannis is the chief portfolio manager of Credence Capital Management, a volatility hedge fund business he founded in 2005. He specializes in systematic relative-value and quasi-arbitrage deals and for many years he has developed and implemented proprietary quantitative models for identifying such trading opportunities mainly in the field of equity derivatives. The firm is focused in providing absolute positive returns, uncorrelated to mainstream assets such as stocks and bonds. The bulk of its volume is on US exchanges.

Arianne Adams is Senior Vice President, Head of Derivatives and Global Client Services at Cboe Global Markets, Inc. Adams is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the options and futures businesses. In addition, she leads Cboe’s client services team, which identifies and educates new investors, in addition to supporting existing clients, for our options and futures products. In her role, Adams also focuses on expanding the use of Cboe’s proprietary products globally. Before joining Cboe, Adams was Vice President, Head of Electronic Options on the Equity Derivatives Sales team at Goldman Sachs, where she led a team focused on offering electronic options connectivity solutions to global institutions and asset managers. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Criqui also held Equity Derivatives Sales roles at Capstone Investment Advisors and Merrill Lynch. She started her career in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch in 2000. Previously, Adams served on several industry committees, including the Options Market Structure Committee, STA Options Committee and the Options Industry Council (OIC) Advisory Board. Adams attended Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a B.S. in Finance and was co-captain of the school’s varsity women’s swimming team. She holds NASD Series 3, 7, 63 and 55 and Principal NASD Series 4, 9 and 10 licenses.
Matt Moran

Matt Moran is Head of Index Insights at Cboe Global Markets. In this role, Moran is focused on the exchange's educational efforts for pension funds, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), mutual funds, and other institutional investors. He has traveled to more than 100 cities worldwide to educate investors and deliver financial presentations. Prior to joining Cboe, Moran served as Trust Counsel at Harris Bank and Vice President at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is an associate editor of The Journal of Beta Investment Strategies and has written articles for several financial publications, including The Journal of Trading and The Journal of Alternative Investments. Moran holds MBA and JD degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
