Management Systems: Goals, Objectives and the Process Approach

ON DEMAND until October 4, 2019

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

A key foundation of the modern-day management system is the process approach. Through this approach, an organization can comprehend their needs/inputs, the necessary activities and the associated deliverables/outputs (including their “interested party’s expectations”).

An effective understanding of these needs, and the processes used to achieve them, will assure that the system has been architected to address the needs, with minimal waste, doing things correctly. Equally as important is the definition of clear metrics, and manageable goals, used to assure that the correct things are being done.

Through this session, attendees will be:

  • Exposed to the fundamental management system requirements associated with the process approach
  • Informed of the purpose for appropriately defined quality objectives / performance indices
  • Aware of the interrelations between these requirements and other applicable MS sections
  • Provided practical examples, and pitfalls, on the implementation / execution of these matters
