Abstract
This must-attend webinar will address how forecasters see construction markets developing in 2025 as the industry faces the possibility of tariffs in addition to ongoing workforce challenges. ENR will call on two forecasters and a materials expert, asking them to share their views on the market prospects for the industry both nationally and regionally.
We’ll hear from Luke Lillehaugen, Senior Economist with the pricing and purchasing service at S&P Global, who will provide price forecasts and market intelligence to enable smarter purchasing decisions and supply chain cost savings for buyers of lumber, cement, concrete, glass, and other construction materials.
We’ve also invited Macrina Wilkins, Senior Research Analyst for the Associated General Contractors of America, who will bring her knowledge on trends in the labor, spending and material markets, and Sarah Martin, Associate Director of Forecasting from Dodge Construction Network, where she forecasts and analyzes data across all major construction types for the U.S. and Canada.

 Luke Lillehaugen Senior Economist S&P Global Market Intelligence Luke Lillehaugen is a Senior Economist with the Pricing and Purchasing Service at S&P Global, working as the lead analyst covering non-metallic building materials in North America, Europe, and Asia. Luke provides price forecasts and market intelligence to enable smarter purchasing decisions and supply chain cost savings for buyers of lumber, cement, concrete, glass, and other construction materials.
Prior to joining S&P Global, he worked as a research assistant in the Prices and Wages section at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington. Luke received his BA in Mathematics and Chemistry with minors in Economics and Data Analytics from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.  Macrina Wilkins Senior Research Analyst Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Macrina Wilkins works as a senior research analyst for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the leading trade association for the construction industry. She serves as a speaker within the industry, sharing her knowledge on trends in the labor, spending and material markets. Her work has been published in trade magazines and industry reports focusing on topics related to economic trends impacting contractors.
Ms. Wilkins graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development and has done post-bac work in Economics at George Mason University. She is a member of the National Associate of Business Economists and serves as Secretary of the National Economics Club of Washington DC.  Sarah Martin Associate Director of Forecasting Dodge Construction Network Sarah Martin is the Associate Director of Forecasting at Dodge Construction Network, where she forecasts & analyzes construction industry data for the US and Canada, across all major construction types and geographies. She is a contributing author to Dodge’s Construction Market Forecasting Service (CMFS) and the Canadian Construction Forecasting Service (CCFS). Sarah frequently writes, analyzes and presents on several topics related to construction and the US economy, including speaking at Dodge’s Outlook events.
Prior to DCN, Sarah was an Economist at Fastmarkets RISI where she authored forecasts in bioenergy and wood products, and developed consulting studies related to those topics. She holds a B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island and an M.A. from Clark University.
