2020 MCSW Proposed By-Law Changes: Presentation to Members

Start Date:8/12/2020

Start Time:4:00 PM CDT

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

Over the past three years, the MCSW By-Law Committee completed a full review of the MCSW By-Law. In November 2019, March 2020 and June 2020, the Board of Directors provisionally approved amendments to By-Law No.1 of the Manitoba College of Social Workers to clarify the rights and responsibilities of the directors, officers and members of the College; to allow for electronic and advance voting; and to otherwise incorporate principles of good governance. The By-Law Committee will present proposed changes to the By-Law for consideration by MCSW members. Online voting related to the proposed changes will take place from September 8 – October 8, 2020.

CASW is proud to partner with the Manitoba College of Social Workers to provide continuing education opportunities such as these.
