START DATE: ON DEMAND THROUGH SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 Abstract: For over 40 years, the cup has been the most common package format for yogurts and on-the-go prepared foods. Easy to stack, improved shelf life and well embraced by the market. The cup will not disappear, but the marketplace is shifting, and a balance between different packaging formats is important for any brand. In Europe and other global markets, the appreciation for products in pouches is well established. Technology has evolved, and today there are solutions for improved quality and package presentation. Learning objectives: - Pros and cons of premade pouch vs. form fill and seal.
- Unique packaging design considerations for dairy and RTE prepared food applications – new emerging packaging formats.
- Efficient manufacturing throughout your downstream. An introduction to maintaining flexibility, production levels and optimizing OEE.
