Abstract:
This program will explore how customers can easily gain efficiency, comfort, and/or performance to an existing residential hydronic heating system. We will look at how to optimize system efficiency using controls, components and/or circulators and the benefits to the end user. Outdoor responsive controls will be explored as a boiler reset as well as load reset in order to gain system reset, which saves fuel and adds comfort to existing projects.

- Knowing the difference between load reset vs. boiler reset vs. system reset
- Determining the correct flow and head in a residential hydronic system

Dave Holdorf has been in the hydronic industry for over 20 years, specifically in the radiant heating side of the business for the better part of his career. Starting out in the technical support/design role of Engineering Manager and as a Field Technician; supporting training, designing and troubleshooting. He is presently the Residential Trainer/Rep Training Manager, Eastern Region for Taco Comfort Solutions.
