Quek Leng Chuang has served as ESGL’s director since June 2022 and as ESA’s Chief Executive Officer since December 2020. Mr. Quek founded ESA in May 1999 and has since served as its director and chairman since that time. From June 1996 to January 1997, Mr. Quek served as an operations manager of Green Singapore Pte Ltd, a waste paper recycling and industrial commercial solid waste recycling company. From February 1997 to December 1998, Mr. Quek served as an operations engineer at Eco Industrial Environmental Engineering Pte Ltd, an environmental engineering firm with particular focus on solid waste recovery facilities. Mr. Quek was awarded a Singapore Armed Force Scholarship to pursue Engineering in 1986, and subsequently served full time in the Singapore Army as an officer with Elite Infantry Division. He continued service honorably in the reserve till 2016, and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Quek received a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the National University of Singapore in 1990, and a Master of Business Administration from Leicester University in 1996. We believe Mr. Quek’s wealth of industry experience qualifies him to serve on our Board.
Lawrence Law
Chief Sustainability and Strategy Officer

Law Beng Hui has served as ESGL’s director since July 2022 and as ESA’s Chief Sustainability and Strategy Officer and director since December 2020 and January 2021, respectively. Mr. Law co-founded NewOil Solutions Pte Ltd in July 2020, a chemical recycling company. Mr. Law is an Internationally Certified Practicing Management Consultant registered with Singapore Business Advisors and Consultants Council (SBACC). He currently sits on the board of consultants for Diageo plc’s carbon neutral whisky distillery investment in China and has taken on various leadership positions at Diageo plc since June 2011. From January 2005 to August 2008, Mr. Law served as regional client services director at Young and Rubicam Brands Ltd, one of the advertising groups owned by WPP plc (LON:WPP), an advertising and media conglomerate. Mr. Law received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore in 1999 and an Executive Master of Business Administration from INSEAD Business School in 2021. We believe Mr. Law’s extensive experience qualifies him to serve on the Board, including his over 20 years of experience in business strategy, brand portfolio and marketing management at leading consumer packaged goods companies and advertising agencies, working across global and regional markets.
Dr. Andrei Veksha

Andrei Veksha, Director and Founder of Nanomatics Pte Ltd since its incorporation in 2021, leads the development of next-generation thermal technologies that transform waste into high-value products. With 17 years of research experience across universities in Canada, Japan, and Singapore, he has been dedicated to advancing technological solutions for waste management, carbon sequestration, and hydrogen production. Currently serving as the Executive Scientific and Technology Advisor at Mars-Envotec Pte Ltd, he provides insights into thermal biomass treatment and biomass-derived products. Furthermore, Andrei is a member of the Standards Development Committee of the Singapore Chemical Industry Council Limited since 2021, where he acts as an expert in monitoring international guidelines on solid recovered fuel and assessing alternative strategies to fulfill net zero waste goals. His educational journey, supported by a prestigious Japanese Government scholarship, culminated in a PhD with a major in Sustainability of Resources from Okayama University in 2012.

Crocker is an award-winning investor relations and corporate communications advisor with two decades of experience helping public and private companies access the capital markets, complete major acquisitions, and business transformations. He has worked with senior leaders of over 100 companies across a range of industries ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 scale enterprises.
He has helped to guide his clients through dozens of IPOs, as well as secondary and follow-on offerings, and “going private” transactions to support successful outcomes. Crocker is a skilled communicator whose experience spans investor presentations, earnings releases, earnings call presentations, corporate and investor websites, CEO speeches and bylined articles, and op-eds. He has an extensive network of investment bankers, institutional investors, and private equity funds developed over many years that enable him to understand how fundamentals-based investors think about a story. He has organized or chaired major investment conferences on both the East and West Coast, as well as in China and Hong Hong Kong.
Crocker lives in New York City with his three children. He is the founder and Chair of an independent school, MUSE Academy, focused on the performing arts, and a trustee and former chair of the 110-year-old Brooklyn Music School. Before his current career, he was an independent filmmaker and a journalist for major newspapers and The New Republic. He received his BA from Yale, where he graduated summa cum laude, won the Literature Prize, and was the Editor-in-Chief of The Yale Daily News, and later was a Fulbright Scholar at the Freie Universität Berlin studying philosophy.
