Abstract:
Navitas Semiconductor (Nasdaq: NVTS), the pure-play, industry leader in next-gen power semiconductors, will host an in-person investor meeting, at Nasdaq New York, on September 13th, 2022.
CEO and co-founder Gene Sheridan, and CFO Ron Shelton will detail how gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) replace legacy silicon chips to address a $22B/year market by 2026 and enable a 6 Gton/year reduction in CO2e by 2050.
The recent, accretive acquisition of GeneSiC will be reviewed in detail, with a focus on complementary technology, company structure and Navitas’ unique, ‘pure-play’ next-gen, system-focused go-to-market strategy. Attendees will see examples of mobile, data center, motor drive, solar and EV applications highlighting benefits including energy savings, charging speed, system size and cost.
The meeting includes a formal presentation then live Q&A and hands-on hardware demonstrations including ultra-fast mobile charging, data center, EV and motor drive.

Gene Sheridan CEO, President, co-founder Navitas Gene Sheridan brings over 25 years of experience in power management & semiconductors with an impressive track record in creating, leading and scaling businesses that have enjoyed excellent value creation, growth and profitability.
Most recently, Gene served as CEO of the VC-backed semiconductor start-up BridgeCo that captured 80% market share in the wireless audio market before a successful sale to Standard Microsystems Corporation (SMSC). Prior to BridgeCo, Gene served as VP & GM at International Rectifier where he managed a business unit with a team of over 100 employees and $600M annual revenues.
At IRF, Gene held several positions that spanned engineering, manufacturing, sales & marketing including the creation of a $70M/yr start-up. Gene holds a BSEE from Clarkson University.
Ron Shelton CFO, Treasurer Navitas Ron Shelton brings rich experience as a public-company CFO in semiconductors, in M&A and other strategic transactions to accelerate Navitas’ mission to become the leading next-generation power-semiconductor company.
Ron was previously CFO at Adesto Technologies, GigOptix, Cirrus Logic and other successful semiconductor companies. He has been involved in transactions with an aggregate value of over $2 billion, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, strategic investments, and technology licensing.
Ron has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.
Stephen Oliver VP Corporate marketing & Investor Relations Navitas Stephen has over 25 years of experience in the power semiconductor and power supply industries worldwide. Most recently, Stephen served as VP of the VI Chip product line at Vicor, creating over $200M in revenue with blue chip server, telecom, industrial and defense companies.
Prior to that he was with Motorola, Philips (NXP) and International Rectifier (Infineon). Stephen holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Manchester University (UK) and an MBA in Global Marketing & Strategy from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Stephen holds several patents in power semiconductors, and is a Chartered Engineer. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Power Source Manufacturers’ Association (PSMA), after having been VP, President and Chairman.
