ABOUT THE EVENT:
This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the achievements of Black women in tech and business! Whether you’re at the entry-level or in the C-Suite—we see you shining and want to honour you.
Black women are leaders, innovators and trailblazers who continue to shape our world while breaking through glass ceilings. But they are also underrepresented in tech. The National Centre for Women & Information Technology (NCIT) reports that in North America, women made up about 30% of the tech workforce and of that number, only about 5% were Black (2019).
In partnership with TD, we are proud to celebrate and elevate the voices of Black women who are helping change the narrative and transform the face of various industries! Let's talk about the underrepresentation of Black women in tech, the obstacles that remain in place, but also celebrate your wins!
Are you a Black professional looking to hear from women who share your experience? Are you looking for a place to celebrate and honour Black women in our community? Are you looking to be inspired and learn from Black women who have seen success in their careers?
Then come celebrate International Women’s Day with the BPTN community!
This night is for you.
