ON DEMAND UNTIL SEPTEMBER 28, 2022
Abstract:
As a safety professional, one of your responsibilities is to provide impactful safety and health training to workers that not only satisfies regulatory safety training compliance requirements but truly leads to positive desired outcomes, including behavior change, safer workers, and a safer, healthier workplace. What are your true knowledge and skill levels when it comes to:
- How people process, make sense of, store, and later transfer information to the job?
- How people develop skills?
- The basics of instructional design?
- Training development models such as ADDIE?
- Debunked “learning myths” and evidence-based training practices?
In this webinar, join Jeff Dalto, a contributor to the ANSI/ASSP Z490.2 Online EHS Training Standard and a current member of the committee revising the ANSI/ASSP Z490.1 standard for all EHS training, as he provides you a few training basics you can begin to use tomorrow to improve your current safety training programs at work.
