Abstract:

Faced with a volatile supply chain, a constantly changing employment and grocery market and soaring commodity costs, operations and production managers are left wondering when the next curve ball is coming their way. In this situation, technology allows manufacturers to do more with less, using less expensive resource and getting more from efficient and productive machinery. Maintaining visibility and tight control over production variables and being able to swiftly access to production data is vital for optimising processes and boosting resource management. So, how do food manufacturers who are embarking on that journey know where to start and how do processors who have already started down that path determine the next step? What exactly does digitalising processes involve, how expensive, disruptive and time-consuming is it and how can small companies benefit as much as larger businesses with legacy systems? This webinar can help guide you through these questions, supported by practical wisdom from manufacturers in the field. The answers may surprise you.
