Start Date: 5/20/2021
Start Time:6:30 PM EDT
Duration:90 minutes
AGENDA:
Start-ups and Fortune 500 tech companies actually have a lot in common at the intersection of law and technological development; not only must they each abide by the laws of their respective jurisdictions (from privacy to e-commerce and consumer protection), they are also subject to the constant evolution of technology.
As vendors develop products, their teams need to understand and anticipate the various legal issues that come with taking an idea to market. How will they contract for and integrate new technologies into their business models? How do vendors and consumers ensure that they are aware of and that they address key legal and business issues, such as data privacy, cyber security, anti-spam and consumer protection?
This Masterclass, presented by Fasken — a full service international business law firm serving both the world’s largest companies and emerging tech start-ups — will feature a panel of lawyers and professionals working at the ever expanding intersection of law and technology.
Are you:
- A technologist or lawyer interested in technology law?
- A leader or team member who wants to learn to issue-spot a variety of products?
- A Black professional looking to network with like minded industry peers?
Then join us! This Masterclass is for you.
