Abstract:

eCommerce has and will continue to transform the way we look at wholesale distribution.  Every stakeholder in the supply chain has woken to a new landscape with challenges that are too large to tackle all at once.  In fact, most wholesalers don’t have the right staff in place to educate and guide management towards the basic principles of eCommerce.  Expectations are also very different as margins are driven through automations, not relationships, having the right technology and analytics in place helps drive business decisions that remove subjectivity out of the conversation and most importantly the wholesalers’ cost of goods won’t save them in the future, plain and simple.
