After executive assignments in sales, marketing, operations and customer service with industry leading robot, system integrator and engineering companies, Joe is head of strategic marketing for Universal Robots. Joe is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He is a regular speaker, lecturer and author on manufacturing labor issues, and the technology and economic benefits of robots and factory automation. Joe and his family live in Birmingham, MI.

Lisa brings 15 years of marketing experience to the Soft Robotics team. She began her career as an engineer in high volume manufacturing and medical device development, which led to an opportunity to be directly involved with the end customer. She transitioned into marketing with a focus on identifying customers unmet needs and developing new markets. Lisa has held high level marketing roles in several medical device companies including Smith & Nephew and Conformis, Inc. Lisa holds both a Bachelor’s and Masters of Science in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and an MBA from Babson College.
