Len Monheit CEO Industry Transparency Center Len Monheit, a chemist and biochemist by formal training, has been in the healthy lifestyle industry for over 24 years. He co-founded digital media pioneer NPIcenter (Natural Products Industry Center) in 1999, building that organization into the most widely used website and online resource prior to selling it to New Hope Natural Media in 2006. As part of New Hope’s senior leadership team he managed its ingredient portfolio which included Nutracon, Engredea, Functional Ingredients magazine and digital programs before moving into a global strategic role for key clients in conjunction with Nutrition Business Journal.
Len then moved to William Reed Business Media, serving as Manager, Americas for WRBM properties across food, nutra, cosmetics and pharma including NutraIngredients-USA, FoodNavigator-USA and Probiota. Leaving WRBM, he became a partner in then Trust Transparency Center, now ITC.
Len is currently CEO of strategy, data and insights firm Industry Transparency Center (ITC), and serves as Executive Director of the Global Prebiotic Association, the global voice of the fast-growing prebiotic sector.
With his deep expertise in the health ingredient and supplement sector and executive roles in strategy and business to business media, Len guides ingredient, supplement and natural products companies globally on trend analysis, market, regulations, , product positioning, sourcing and supply chain and growth strategy.
Aouatef Bellamine PhD Global Director Scientific Marketing H&W ADM Aouatef Bellamine earned her Ph.D. in Toxicology with honors at the Sorbonne University in France. She is a pioneer in the field of cytochrome P450, where she was the first to purify and characterize the CYP51, the enzyme involved in cholesterol synthesis in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Her research brought her from Vanderbilt University to the industry where she led a program at Bristol-Myers Squibb looking at the safety and the lipodystrophy resulting from the use of protease inhibitors and anti-psychotic drugs. Later at BMS, she joined the metabolic disease medical affairs team where she contributed to the launch of several diabetic drugs. She also led a work stream looking at the off-target effects of DPP-4 inhibitors and their impact on the cardiovascular outcomes, as part of the SAVOR clinical trial. For over 10 years at Lonza, Aouatef was a leading member of the R&D organization in the Nutrition business, where she was involved in the research and the clinical development for the Nutrition portfolio for the purpose of claim substantiation and new applications. At Lonza, she was involved in the development, acquisition and launch of new dietary supplements in both human and animal nutrition. She has a proven record and authored over 35 peer reviewed articles in the fields of lipid metabolism, endocrinology and Nutrition. She also authored several patents both in US and in Europe. She has been invited as a lecturer in many scientific conferences and has been involved in many advisory boards as a spokesperson. Since January 2022, Aouatef joined ADM initially as a Sr Scientist and is now the Global Scientific Marketing Director. Aouatef is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the American Society of Nutrition, the Council for Responsible Nutrition, the American Diabetes Association and the Society of Toxicology.

Yu Ru Head of Product Development SIRIO Europe Yu Ru is the Head of Product development in Sirio Pharma. As the head of product development, Yu Ru leads a team of nutrition scientists dedicated on product applications. Prior to joining Sirio, Yu Ru has been working in various product development and business development positions in international companies in France and in China. Yu Ru holds a master’s degree in food studies from the university of Wageningen, the Netherlands.
Maria Pavlidou Head of Brand SIRIO Europe Maria is a marketing leader with more than 14 years of experience in marketing & communications in both multinational and local companies, always in the area of health and nutrition, in B2C and B2B space. Maria started her career in B2C marketing roles at Danone and Novartis, before joining DSM where she worked for almost 8 years in different marketing roles, leading the marketing communication strategy for EMEA. Prior to joining Sirio, Maria worked as a senior strategy consultant at the HMT, a leading marketing and branding consulting agency.
