Start Date:1/14/2022
Start Time:4:00 PM EST
Program Overview:
During 2021, the EU introduced new rules seeking to harmonise the regime for marketing funds across European member states, while the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission compiled the various rules regulating marketing private funds in the U.S. into one cohesive regime. With these changes in place and private capital fundraising continuing to be a global endeavour, fund sponsors will be tasked with navigating these new regulations.
During this webinar, our presenters from both the U.K. and U.S. will offer insights on some of the key considerations for private funds that are considering marketing in the U.K., U.S., and EU, including:
- An overview of the new changes in relation to marketing funds and investor protection
- The new landscape for fund sponsors seeking to access EU investors
- The considerations for those seeking to access U.S. investors
- The challenges of certain models that have previously been commonly used to address cross-border marketing issues
