Gregory Quirk, PhD Gregory Quirk is a professor at the University of Puerto Rico – Medical Sciences Campus. He is also the chair of Latin American Training Advisory Group. Quirk’s research program on fear learning has brought competitive research grants, high-profile publications, and first-class training opportunities for undergraduate and doctoral students living in Puerto Rico. He received a PhD at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn NY studying place cells in the hippocampus and entorhinal cortex.
