June is Pride Month, when the world celebrates the LGBTQ community and its contributions locally, nationally and globally.
To celebrate, PRWeek has unveiled its inaugural Pride in PR program, which celebrates the impact LGBTQ individuals continue to have on the PR industry in the U.S. and around the world by profiling 30 inspirational LGBTQ leaders each day throughout the month of June.
In this special webcast, PRWeek spotlights some of the honorees in this compilation. During these 60 minutes, we will highlight the tremendous contributions LGBTQ professionals are having on not only the comms industry and profession, but the broader business world.
Of course, these practitioners still face many challenges and difficulties that will be candidly discussed during this webcast, including remaining obstacles to professional advancement and cultures that still discriminate – subtly and not so subtly – against LGBTQ colleagues.
Above all, Showcasing Pride in PR will be a testament to how much the comms industry – and the entire world – benefits from what LGBTQ professionals bring to the table every day.
