Cash inflow is the lifeblood of your business and comes from many sources. High positive cash flow means your business is running smoothly, and allows you to make new investments to further increase your revenue.
But, many dealers don’t have a grip on cash flow due to outdated bank reconciliation processes. If you’re still balancing monthly bank statements on paper, you’re being deprived of the benefits of daily bank reconciliations via a dealership management system (DMS).
With daily bank reconciliations, employee and bank errors can be resolved instantly. Employee theft will be caught sooner, and perhaps eliminated. Always know how much cash is available in order to apply reserve cash to your floor plan balance, reduce interest payments, invest in new technology, pay off loans and hire new employees.
In this webinar, Auto/Mate’s Tracey Van Allen will share tips for modernizing the cash handling process in your dealership. Fear of allowing your staff online access to bank accounts will be alleviated, as Van Allen walks you through creating a process to keep cash safe and establish oversight.
Attend the webinar to:
- Create and document a process using a DMS for daily bank reconciliations
- Set up view-only permissions for accounting staff to access bank accounts online
- Establish appropriate oversight, to keep cash safe
