Speakers
Bertram Richards, CPA, MBA Director of Finance, Canada Life Bertram Richards is a Director of Finance at Canada Life. He has a comprehensive twenty-year background in Accounting, Business transformation and IT Finance. With an entrepreneurial mindset, Bertram gives back to the community by providing pro-bono consulting services to non-profit organizations and offers tax consultancy services to corporate and personal clients. Bertram is a CPA and has an MBA from Laurentian University.
Amy Lin, CPA, CA Associate Manager, Canada Life Amy Lin is an Associate Manager with Canada Life’s Internal Audit team, delivering value added audit and advisory engagements to the company while primarily serving the company’s investments portfolio. Amy began her career at PwC Canada where she provided external audit and assurance services to large investment fund managers and REITs. Additionally, Amy was part of PwC’s Forensic Services practice, with a focus on assisting clients with investigations including employee fraud, procurement fraud, and litigation support.
