As Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Canada, Claudyne Bienvenu directs IIROC's Compliance (Financial Operations, Business Conduct and Trading Conduct), Registration, Enforcement and Surveillance activities in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

Before becoming Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Canada, Claudyne served as Regional Director, Regulatory Affairs with IIROC and its predecessor organization, the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (IDA), which she joined in 2004.

Prior to joining the IDA, Claudyne worked in another regulatory role as a director in the Office of the President of Commission des valeurs mobilières du Québec, which itself is the predecessor of the Autorité des marchés financiers (Québec). In that role, she was responsible for relations with the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA).

Claudyne also served as an assessor on Québec's Human Rights Tribunal and as Québec representative in the Canadian Court Challenges Program.

Claudyne received a Bachelor of Political Science from Laval University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Montreal in 1992. She has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1998.

Eloïse Gratton is a partner and National Co-Leader of the Privacy and Data Protection group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. She offers strategic advice to companies and their board of directors relating to best business practices relevant to the monetization of big data and the use of artificial intelligence, in addition to providing support in crisis management situations (e.g. security breaches, privacy commissioners’ investigations, class actions). Éloïse’s publications are consulted in Canada and abroad, used in law courses and cited in academic journals as well as in landmark privacy decisions by the Supreme Court of Canada. She authored Internet and Wireless Privacy: A Legal Guide to Global Business Practices, one of the first technology and privacy book in Canada (CCH, 2003). Her recent works include Managing Privacy in a Connected World (LexisNexis 2020), Privacy in the Workplace, 4th edition (LexisNexis, 2017), Practical Guide to e-Commerce and Internet Law (LexisNexis 2015) and Understanding Personal Information: Managing Privacy Risks (LexisNexis, 2013). She was recently honored by Canadian Lawyer magazine as a forward thinker in an article about the country’s 25 most influential lawyers, as well as selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Influential Women by the Women's Executive Network (WXN) in the “CIBC Trailblazers & Trendsetters” category.

Elisa Henry

Elisa Henry is a partner and National Co-Leader of the Privacy and Data Protection group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. She is also the Regional Information Technology practice lead of the firm. Elisa advises international and domestic clients on a broad range of information technology, privacy and data protection issues, including on compliance with Canadian and European (GDPR) law requirements, data breach management, anti-spam legislation and strategic questions such as big data analytics. Elisa also assists clients in the context of commercial transactions and contracts, including in the context of M&A, joint-ventures, outsourcing and licensing arrangements. Her clients operate in various industries, including IT, energy, telecommunications, online media and advertising, aviation and aeronautics, financial services, retail, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining BLG, Elisa practiced technology and privacy law in Montréal and in Paris. Elisa is a member of the Paris Bar since 2002 and of the Québec Bar since 2011. She is an officer of the Technology Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and is acting as the liaison agent for the Paris Bar in Québec. She is also a Registered Trademark Agent in Canada and a member of ITechLaw and CAN-TECH. Elisa regularly speaks at Canadian and international conferences on privacy and IT law and is the author of several publications on this topic, including Practical Guide to eCommerce and Internet Law (Lexis Nexis, 2015), which she co-authored with Éloïse Gratton.
