Matthew Davidson Field CTO Workspot I'm a progressive thinker, skilled in leveraging technology to support and grow the organization. My philosophy is simple - technology should be an innovative enabler, not a barrier or a reactionary fix.
Creating forward thinking and innovative technology direction starts with understanding the business and processes you're supporting. If you don't have a comprehensive understanding of what you're attempting to change, you'll fail in your efforts. Because of this focus over the past 16 years, I've developed and implemented tactical and strategic technology plans that have cut spending while increasing service, productivity and profitability.
The teammates I manage are the key to a successful department. At every level of my career, I've developed high-performance teams by recognizing and capitalizing on team members’ strengths while minimizing their weaknesses. I love mentoring and coaching my team so they can reach their full potential and develop careers that are rewarding and fun!
I’m also a member of two national AEC industry peer groups. I maintain an open dialogue with these national networks of select industry peers, which enables me to develop cost-effective problem solving and directional guidance when canvassing new technologies and services.
