Abstract:

COVID-19 has caused significant hurdles and challenges for Canadians. For many, this means struggling with the loss of their job. This session, presented by Robert Gore, CPA, CA, will cover the issues and emotions that come with job loss as well as provide strategies on how to move ahead financially; including learning how to budget, dealing with debt and how to get back on your feet now and once the pandemic is over.

She is an area leader for the CPA Canada Financial Literacy Program in Calgary and a board member for the Calgary Chinese Community Services Association.

Elena is also a sessional instructor at the Haskayne School of Business, served as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association and a peer advisor for the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs.

Elena has a strong passion and commitment for financial literacy, specifically for helping entrepreneurs make informed decisions about their small and medium-sized businesses.
