Dr. Victor Calanog and his team provide market forecasting, valuation and real estate portfolio analytical services. His research has received awards and fellowship support from the Ford Foundation, the Russell Sage Foundation and the Penn Lauder Center for International Business Research. In a previous life, Dr. Calanog was a competitive powerlifter, but he now measures poundages by how much laundry he does per day. He serves at the behest of his wife Christine, daughters Samantha and Madison, and guinea pigs Midnight and Kale. Dr. Calanog holds a master’s degree in business and public policy, an MBA and a PhD in applied economics and management science, all from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Heather Wallace

Heather L. Wallace joined SARES•REGIS Group in 2016 with more than 20 years of multifamily experience. Her areas of focus are business development, marketing and strategic planning for the group’s property management division. Hailed as an expert on pre-development issues, including market research, feasibility and design, she began her career in 1994 with Lincoln Property Company and later held posts at Alliance Residential Company, SCG/Archstone and Trammell Crow Residential Services.

Wallace is on the board of directors of the Housing Industry Foundation and is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, National Apartment Association, Urban Land Institute and the California Apartment Association..

Maitri Johnson

Vice President Tenant and Employment


Maitri Johnson is Vice President, Tenant and Employment. Previously, she spent more than 20 years as a multifamily operator, including 13 years with Riverstone Residential Group as Executive Vice President of Property Services. For a brief time, she worked in the emerging space of single-family rental homes, overseeing property management at Waypoint Homes, now Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust. After serving on the Executive Committee of the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) Board of Directors, Johnson was appointed President of the NAA Education Institute. She also chaired the NAA Lease Advisory Committee, which supervises lease document activities for the multifamily industry.
