Megan DeStefano is Global Marketing Director at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences where she oversees the dietary supplements division, including marketing strategy and execution for probiotics, HMOs, and Fibers. Megan has 20 years of experience working with both consumer and b2b marketing, 13 of them being with DuPont. She holds an MBA from Penn State University where she has been a member of the MBA Alumni Advisory Board since 2011

Lori Lathrop Stern, PhD RD LDN

Science Liaison

DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences

Dr. Lori Lathrop Stern is the Science Liaison in the Nutrition & Biosciences Division of DuPont Danisco where she is part of the R&D team in Probiotics and plays a critical role in the translation of the science behind probiotics. She has over twenty years of experience in the food, supplement, and OTC industry and is based in the US. Lori obtained a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics at Purdue University and is a Registered Dietitian. She completed her PhD in Human Nutrition at Tufts University with a minor in Molecular Biology, conducting her thesis work at the Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging. Prior to her time at DuPont, Lori was Director of Medical Affairs at GSK Consumer Healthcare (formerly Pfizer Consumer Healthcare), responsible for leading scientific innovation for prominent global and regional dietary supplement brands. She also conducted nutrition research and developed health & wellbeing strategies while at Pfizer and in former roles at DSM Nutritional Products and Cadbury Schweppes. Through her education and experience, Lori has established a strong background in human nutrition, nutrient adequacy and an understanding of the impact of essential and non-essential dietary components on health. She also has extensive experience in the science of probiotics and the microbiome and a passion to bring products and education to the market for the promotion of health and wellness.

Matthew Oster is the Head of Consumer Health at Euromonitor International, overseeing the industry’s research and analysis and leading a team of experts in 100 markets worldwide. As Head of Consumer Health, Matthew provides insight into the consumer trends, key markets, competitive landscape and growth opportunities shaping the global consumer health space. He has spoken at many of the industry's leading events, including WSMI's General Assembly Conference, AESGP's Annual Meeting, Supply Side West, and the International Conference of Self-Care Trends and Regulations. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Head of Institutional Channels, where he analyzed the changing global healthcare landscape and its effects on the B2B marketplace for goods and services. He has worked in market research since 2011 and holds a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
