Optimized Ventilation for High-Performing Buildings

On-demand Until November 5, 2021

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

New codes and standards, market-based incentives, sustainability and the increased awareness of indoor air quality are driving the adoption of specialized mechanical ventilation systems. In this presentation, speakers James DeBerry and Joe Cefaly overview both Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) and Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS) and how these specialized ventilation systems work in concert with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems. The result is a complete, high-performing and cost-effective HVAC solution that provides both comfort and wellness for today’s buildings.

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify current industry trends driving specialized ventilation adoption.
  • Understand the benefits and applications of ERVs and DOAS.
  • Examine the efficiencies of VRF technology.
  • Understand how highly-efficient ventilation complements VRF for high-performance design and wellness.
