 Virginie Maisonneuve Global CIO Equity Virginie Maisonneuve joined AllianzGI as Global CIO Equity in June 2021. In this capacity, she leads the development of the firm’s Equity capability and investment offering. She is a member of AllianzGI’s Investment Executive Committee and International Management Group.
Virginie is a global investment leader with a 30 plus year track record of performance, team leadership and innovation. She has previously held portfolio management and CIO positions for companies such as Eastspring, Pimco, Schroders, Clay Finlay, Batterymarch, State Street Research and Martin Currie in various parts of the world including Singapore, New York, Boston, San Francisco and London. During this time, she has pioneered investing in areas such as China, “Quanta-mental”, Thematics, ESG and Climate Change.
Virginie started her career in China working as a consultant for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing while attending Political Economy classes at People’s University. She holds an MBA from ESLSCA, and a degree in Mandarin Chinese from Université Paris Dauphine.
 Gregor M.A. Hirt Global CIO Multi Asset Gregor Hirt joined AllianzGI as Global CIO Multi Asset on 1 July 2021. In this capacity, he leads and oversees the development of the firm’s Multi Asset capability. He is a member of AllianzGI’s Investment Executive Committee and International Management Group.
Greg brings 25 years of experience in Multi Asset investing from both a wealth management and asset management perspective. He joins from Deutsche Bank, where he has been Global Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management for the International Private Bank since 2019. Prior to that, he was Group Chief Strategist and Head of Multi Asset Solutions at Vontobel Asset Management, having also gained strong experience at UBS Asset Management, Schroders Investment Management and Credit Suisse.
Greg holds an MA in International Economics from University of Geneva and MSc in Economics from HEC Lausanne, School of Business. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst.
 Franck Dixmier Global CIO Fixed Income Franck Dixmier is Global CIO Fixed Income and a member of the Investment Executive Committee as well as the International Management Group at Allianz Global Investors.
Since 2012, Franck has been CIO Fixed Income Europe, and in 2015 also became Global Head of Fixed Income, overseeing all fixed income investments across the firm.
From 2012, up to the merger of the French subsidiary into Allianz Global Investors Europe GmbH in 2014, Franck was also Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Global Investors France.
Prior to this, between 2008 and 2012 Franck was CIO of Allianz Global Investors in France.
Franck joined Allianz Group in 1995 as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. In 1998, he became Head of Fixed Income for AGF Asset Management (now Allianz Global Investors’ Paris
Branch). His role included responsibility for the AGF insurance portfolios.
Franck graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Paris Dauphine University (Master’s degree - DEA conjoncture économique et prospective).
 Barbara Rupf Bee Head of EMEA Barbara Rupf Bee is Head of Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Allianz Global Investors, and a member of the firm’s International Management Group and Global Distribution Committee.
Barbara joined AllianzGI in 2019 from UBS, where she led its wealth management business in Germany. Previously, she served as the Head of EMEA Global Client Group at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management responsible for distribution and business development.
Before this, Barbara spent eight years in the UK, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Asset Managers Group, a specialist asset manager focused on Emerging Europe, Russia and Africa. Prior to Renaissance, she worked for almost 10 years for the HSBC Group. Her roles included Global Head of Institutional Sales for HSBC Global Asset Management and CEO of HSBC Alternative Investments Ltd, the investment advisor to HSBC’s fund of hedge funds and institutional client portfolios.
Barbara started her financial services career in private banking at J.P. Morgan. Barbara is a graduate of the San Jose State University where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She also holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Banking from Swiss Finance Institute.
