Microplastics are everywhere you can’t see, from the mountains, to the ocean to your food. Identifying the degree of contamination requires analytical tools that can see subvisible particles as well as identify them.
In this webinar, Dr. Robin Sweeney discusses recently published work highlighting the advantages of using advanced automated microscopy powered by the combination of Raman spectroscopy and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) as a means to collect and identify microplastics in various samples.

Robin Sweeney, PhD Product Manager Unchained Labs Robin Sweeney is the Product Manager for Hound and Bouncer at Unchained Labs. Robin earned a BS in Biology and Biomathematics from The University of Scranton and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Her graduate research focused on optical biosensor development. At Unchained Labs, Robin focuses on applications and advancements of our particle analysis platforms for biologics, drug development and manufacturing, and many other particle characterization applications.
