Henry Schwartz is Vice President, Global Head of Client Engagement, Data and Access Solutions at Cboe Global Markets, Inc. (Cboe). Based in New York, Schwartz joined Cboe in June 2020 as part of the company’s acquisition of Trade Alert, which Schwartz co-founded after nearly 15 years in the industry. In his role at Cboe, Schwartz facilitates ongoing innovation and evolution of the data-driven tools and services provided by Cboe Information Solutions to a wide range of market participants. Schwartz and his team strive to combine the best technology with extensive market expertise to help investors make more informed trading decisions, delivering real-time flow analysis via Cboe OptionAlert and through comprehensive platforms like Cboe Livevol Pro and Cboe Silexx. Before founding Trade Alert in 2005, Schwartz facilitated institutional flow and ran electronic option market making at Bank of America, where he saw a need for new tools as a result of increasing automation and fragmentation. His experience led him to found Trade Alert, which provides instant market information through tools and analytics for traders and portfolio managers. He started in the finance industry as a trader at Hull Group before joining Salomon Brothers as an index trader. Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California San Diego and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

George Harrington

Global Head of Fixed-Income & Derivatives

George owns the global exchange strategy and relationships—driving and coordinating all relationships with exchanges globally to maximize the growth of MSCI linked listed futures and options, and exchange partnerships of all kinds. In addition, he is in charge of building the MSCI product ecosystem and lead Structured Products and OTC Derivatives globally to drive maximum revenue for the firm and to create compelling value propositions for clients. George has over 20 years of experience in financial markets, financial technology, and global exchanges, most recently, he was in an advisory role as the Head of Global Business Development for Eris Exchange LLC. While at Eris he was responsible for overall business strategy in rates, credit and FX markets. Prior to Eris, George was at Bloomberg, LP for over nine years, he held a variety of positions at Bloomberg including Head of Derivative Trading, Head of Fixed Income Trading, Head of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodity Trading and most recently Head of Global Markets. He had many accomplishments at Bloomberg including growing execution platforms to leadership positions and leading Bloomberg STP to be only the second SEC licensee for post-trade matching. Earlier in his career, Mr. Harrington worked at Tradeweb as Head of Credit Derivative Trading. He also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers/Standard & Poor’s, Thomson Financial, and he began his career as a senior mutual fund accountant for JP Morgan Chase. George obtained an MBA in finance from Boston College and a BA degree in Economics from Old Dominion University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee.
