Marc Philouze is MD at Gnosis by Lesaffre, a fermentation-based supplier of human health solutions. He has also held various general management positions at pharmaceuticals, supplements, and functional food companies, and seats on the board of trade associations such as IPA Global, EFFCA and IPA Europe. Marc holds an Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

After a MSc in Biotech and MBA, Philippe spent 10 years in Product development & Operation in BtoB as well as BtoC Food companies. After, and for more than 17 years, he is in various Marketing positions within the Food Ingredient World. Philippe joined Gnosis by Lesaffre in September 2019 as Head of Global Marketing, with a key focus: exploring life to improve living.

Sophie Legrain-Raspaud

Sophie Legrain-Raspaud is a cellular & molecular Biologist. After her PhD and post-doc, she worked during 17 years in Danone Nutricia Research. Her carrier was dedicated to probiotics and microbiota especially oriented toward Digestive comfort & gut-brain axis. She led several teams and laboratories working on microbiology, omics technologies & microbiota analyses and was in charge during several years of the definition and implementation of the scientific strategy on Digestive health for the dairy division of Danone. She joined Lesaffre in 2018, to take the lead of the Research and Applications Department in Gnosis by Lesaffre. Her team is in charge of: Define & implement the scientific strategy in partnership with the other departments of the business unit, Develop & deliver beneficial products for human health with the right level of Science and Ensure regulatory compliance of the product portfolio. She is a board member of IPA EU & LABIP & of the Scientific committee of IPA Global.
