NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND!
Abstract:
One of the fastest growing classes of applications running on VMware’s hyperconverged infrastructure is next-gen applications, also known as cloud-native apps. These applications are typically containerized, comprise of many micro-services, they are distributed and often implement their own availability and fault-tolerance features. Many of our customers are deploying Kubernetes for running their containerized applications. However, running Kubernetes in production presents fresh challenges to the vSphere administrator, in particular when storage is taken into consideration.
Join this session to learn why vSAN is the storage platform of choice for Kubernetes. The below topics will be covered as well as demos of the latest technical capabilities:
- Dynamic volume provisioning and policy integration natively supported in vSAN
- Explore the new cloud native storage feature
- Tech Preview: PKS, delivering automation of deployment and configuration of Kubernetes
Whether you are just getting started with Kubernetes or looking for technical tips on how to provision storage volumes at scale, then this is a session you don’t want to miss.
We look forward to you joining us.
