Christopher Crook is a Senior Software Analyst supporting Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation (AVN). He develops technical solutions and provides guidance in the areas of open system architectures, as well as new airborne technologies. He currently serves as the Technical Working Group (TWG) Chair for the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACETM) Consortium. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science from Troy University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University
Ben Brosgol

Dr. Benjamin Brosgol is a member of AdaCore's senior technical staff. He has been involved with programming language design and implementation throughout his career, concentrating on languages and technologies for high-assurance software. Dr. Brosgol was a member of the design team for Ada 95, and he has also served in the Expert Groups for several Java Specification Requests. He is an active member of the Technical Working Group of The Open Group's Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE™) Consortium and has written articles and delivered talks on FACE related technologies at several FACE Technical Interchange Meetings. Dr. Brosgol has presented papers and tutorials on high-assurance software on numerous occasions, including ESC (Embedded Systems Conference), ICSE (IEEE/ACM International Conference on Software Engineering), IEEE Security Development (SecDev), STC (Software Technology Conference), ACM SIGAda, and Ada-Europe. Dr. Brosgol holds a BA in Mathematics from Amherst College, and MS and PhD degrees in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.

Born and educated in the UK at Sheffield University, now a US citizen based in California working for Wind River as a Software Architect with the Safety Certified Products group. Expertise in Virtualization, Embedded Real-Time OS and Safety Certified OS. Wind River representative with the ARINC653 and FACE committees.
Ned Bent
Senior Engineer

Ned Bent received a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 1982. He spent most of his career as a software developer for constructive simulations, including BRAWLER and STORM, in support of military acquisition programs. Ned joined CRL Technologies, Inc. in 2014 and has served NAVAIR PMA 209 CNS/ATM as a Platform Lead Software Engineer for the integration and certification of ABS-B(Out) and RNP/RNAV on various aircraft. For these programs, he has had primary responsibility for ensuring alignment with the FACE Technical Standard and for compliance with software assurance standards.
