Derek joined the firm in 2016. Prior to Neuberger Berman, Derek was responsible for both Research and Portfolio Management at Horizon Kinetics. Derek was a member of the Investment Committee and responsible for co-managing the Kinetics Alternative Income Fund and various separate account strategies. Prior to Horizon Kinetics, Derek was a Vice President with Goldman Sachs’ Global Manager Strategies Group where he was responsible for conducting investment manager research. Previously, Derek was a fixed income portfolio manager at both Fischer Francis Trees & Watts and Bond Logistix. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from New York University. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

For decades, Wilshire Analytics has been a leading provider of multi-asset class performance, risk and attribution solutions, indexes and peer universe data. The business maintains a presence in Wilshire’s Santa Monica, Chicago, Jersey City, Denver, London, Singapore and China offices. Lisa has spent over 20 years in sales and marketing leadership roles in the risk and analytics market, including globally recognized firms such as ICE (Interactive Data Corp). She graduated with a Bachelor of the Science of Speech Degree from Northwestern University.
Matt Moran Head of Index Insights Cboe Global Markets Matt Moran is Head of Index Insights at Cboe Global Markets. In this role, Moran is focused on the exchange's educational efforts for pension funds, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), mutual funds, and other institutional investors. He has traveled to more than 100 cities worldwide to educate investors and deliver financial presentations. Prior to joining Cboe, Moran served as Trust Counsel at Harris Bank and Vice President at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is an associate editor of The Journal of Beta Investment Strategies and has written articles for several financial publications, including The Journal of Trading and The Journal of Alternative Investments. Moran holds MBA and JD degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Catherine Yoshimoto Director, Product Management FTSE Russell Catherine joined FTSE Russell in 2010 and is responsible for product management of market cap weighted equity indexes, including the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (FTSE GEIS), Russell US Indexes and Russell/Nomura Japan Equity Indexes. Catherine also covers equity index products such as Style, Stability, and FTSE EPRA Nareit and FTSE Nareit real estate index series. Catherine has 18 years of financial services industry experience. Prior to joining FTSE Russell, Catherine spent six years in product management and development roles at Franklin Templeton Investments, covering equity and fixed income fund products distributed globally. Catherine earned three university degrees: (1) M.A. Organizational Leadership, Gonzaga University, (2) M.S. Management, Notre Dame de Namur University, and (3) B.A. Political Science, University of California, Berkeley.
