In celebration of Black Music Month, please join AARP Arizona and attendees from across the country for this one-hour, live jazz couch concert featuring Dr. William Jones--also known as “Doc Jones.”

Dr. Jones is a professional musician, educator, producer, and recording artist with over 40 years of musical experience. He has toured with the Temptations, and provided the horn line for the esteemed Staple Singers, and he has also opened for trumpeter and composer Chris Botti.  As part of AARP’s brain health initiative, he will discuss the positive effects that music has on the brain and attendees will receive AARP resources about dementia and brain health.

He is also the producer and founder of the International Jazz Day AZ Foundation.
