DESCRIPTION:
Cboe Canada will provide an update on the plans for the migration of its legacy NEO exchange trading platform to Cboe Global Markets, Inc. technology, which is planned for March 3, 2025 (subject to regulatory approval). During the webcast, details on technical specifications and expected platform changes will be covered, along with specifics regarding the connectivity, certification, and testing timeline. Some of the technical specification documents are now available via the migration microsite at neo.cboe.com. All Canadian marketplace participants and other stakeholders are encouraged to join.

Joacim Wiklander President and Chief Executive Officer Cboe Canada Mr. Wiklander is President and Chief Executive Officer at Cboe Canada, responsible for driving forward all strategic initiatives and maintaining Cboe Canada’s proven track record of operational excellence. He has extensive electronic trading experience in both the equities and derivatives markets, and was the CEO of Neonet Securities, a European agency broker who pioneered Smart Order Routing. Prior to Neonet, he held several different executive positions with the Orc Group, a global provider of electronic trading technology, including Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President, Product Management. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics and a BSc in Business Administration and Economics.
Bryan Blake Vice President and Head of Canadian Equities Cboe Canada Mr. Blake is Vice President and Head of Canadian Equities at Cboe Global Markets, responsible for overseeing product development and sales for the company’s equity trading business in Canada. Prior to joining Cboe, he served as Vice President of Electronic Trading Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. His career spans sell-side, buy-side and exchange environments in leadership and business management roles. He received a BA specializing in Computer Science from the University of Guelph. Bryan represents Cboe Canada on CIRO’s Market Rules Advisory Committee and the OSC’s Market Structure Advisory Committee.
Vincent Poil Cboe Canada Chief Operating Officer Mr. Poil is Chief Operating Officer for Cboe Canada, responsible for the operational oversight of Cboe’s Canadian business. He grew up in London and attended college locally for a BA in Health and Social Care. He joined Cboe as part of the MATCHNow acquisition in August 2020. Before Cboe, Vince spent 15 years on the sell-side with ITG Canada, ITG London and Virtu in technology, client coverage and product roles.
Walter Raposo Senior Manager, Canadian Equities Trade Desk Cboe Canada Mr. Raposo is the Senior Trade Desk Manager for Cboe Canada, responsible for the Canadian trade desk team that provides customer and operational support for all Cboe Canada trading platforms. Walter grew up in Toronto and attended college locally for Information Technology Administration. Walter previously spent seven years immersed in the IT side of trade desk support with Dundee Capital Markets, ITG Canada and Virtu in technology and market data support.
